AI/ML Engineer

Responsibilities

The AI/ML Engineer will be responsible for one of the following tasks:

  • Design, build, and optimize intelligent agents using LangChain and LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, LLaMA).
  • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines with vector databases (e.g., ChromaDB, Pinecone, Weaviate).
  • Develop multi-step reasoning workflows, tool-using agents, and integrations with APIs and structured data.
  • Fine-tune or prompt-engineer foundation models to suit specific tasks or business domains.
  • Optimize performance, latency, and cost of LLM inference in production environments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, product managers, and DevOps to deliver secure and scalable AI solutions.
  • Maintain best practices for evaluation and observability.

Requirements

The AI/ML Engineer is expected to have the following qualifications and skills:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 1–2+ years working directly with LLMs and/or LangChain.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript.
  • Deep understanding of prompt engineering, agent design, and RAG workflows.
  • Experience with vector databases (e.g., Chroma, Pinecone, FAISS) and data embeddings.
  • Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source LLMs (e.g., LLaMA, Mistral, Ollama).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
