We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in Next.js and modern frontend development, combined with solid experience in Headless WordPress integration.
This role focuses on building high-performance, scalable, and SEO-friendly web applications, while leading frontend best practices and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using Next.js (App Router), ReactJS, and TypeScript.
Lead frontend architecture decisions, including:
Server vs Client Components
Data fetching strategies
Rendering patterns (SSR, SSG, ISR)
Build and integrate frontend applications with Headless WordPress (REST API / GraphQL).
Ensure pixel-perfect UI implementation and seamless collaboration with designers.
Optimize applications for performance, SEO, accessibility, and scalability.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend engineers.
Conduct code reviews, enforce frontend standards, and mentor junior developers.
Proactively identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and propose effective solutions.
Deploy and maintain frontend applications on AWS infrastructure (CloudFront, S3, Lambda, etc.).
Maintain clean, maintainable, and testable codebases following modern frontend best practices.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Frontend development, with a strong focus on modern web technologies.
Expert-level proficiency in Next.js (App Router, Server Components, API Routes, performance optimization).
Strong experience with ReactJS, modern hooks, and component architecture.
Proven experience working with Headless WordPress (REST API / WPGraphQL).
Good understanding of WordPress customization & PHP (for integration and content modeling).
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and frontend tooling.
Deep understanding of web performance, SEO, and frontend best practices.
Fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
Strong ownership mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to lead frontend initiatives.
Nice to Have
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments.
Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic, Lighthouse).
Experience in client-facing or consulting roles.
Knowledge of design systems and reusable component libraries.
