Senior Solution Architect / Tech Lead (Blockchain Experience)
We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect / Tech Lead to lead the design and delivery of institutional-grade Web3 financial platforms in a regulated fintech environment.
In this role, you will drive the overall system architecture across backend services, cloud infrastructure, blockchain integrations, and distributed applications. You will work closely with Product, Compliance, Design, and Engineering teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that support digital asset and blockchain-based financial products.
As a technical leader, you will mentor cross-functional engineering teams, establish engineering best practices, and ensure delivery excellence across Web2 and Web3 platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about blockchain infrastructure, cloud-native systems, and solving complex architectural challenges within regulated industries.
Responsibilities
System Architecture & Technical Strategy
Define, design, and optimize scalable backend architectures, microservices, and distributed systems for high-performance fintech and Web3 platforms.
Architect secure and reliable integrations with EVM-compatible blockchains (Ethereum, Polygon, etc.) and/or Solana ecosystems.
Design multi-chain transaction workflows, wallet integrations, custody systems, and digital asset infrastructure.
Drive technical decision-making and ensure alignment with scalability, performance, and security requirements.
Technical Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and support cross-functional engineering teams including Full-stack, Cloud, QA, and Smart Contract Engineers.
Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, architectural governance, and technical standards.
Collaborate closely with Agile/Scrum teams to manage delivery timelines, sprint planning, and technical execution.
Cloud Infrastructure & Security
Architect and oversee high-availability cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
Establish secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and deployment best practices.
Ensure system reliability, observability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience.
Security, Compliance & Data Architecture
Define secure software engineering standards aligned with regulated financial services and digital asset requirements.
Oversee database architecture and optimization across relational and NoSQL systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
Collaborate with compliance and security teams to ensure adherence to governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Support technical roadmap planning and long-term platform evolution strategies.
Requirements
Minimum 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with at least 3 years in a Tech Lead, Engineering Lead, or Solution Architect role.
Proven experience architecting enterprise-scale systems integrated with EVM-compatible blockchains and/or Solana ecosystems.
Strong backend engineering expertise using Node.js, Python, or Go.
Solid experience designing scalable database architectures using PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or other relational/NoSQL technologies.
Deep understanding of cloud-native infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including CI/CD, containerization, and Linux environments.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems, system scalability, reliability engineering, and security best practices.
Experience leading Agile/Scrum engineering teams and managing cross-functional technical delivery.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Extensive experience working within regulated industries such as Financial Services, Fintech, Blockchain, or Digital Asset Exchanges is required.
Strong strategic thinking, ownership mindset, and ability to balance technical and business priorities.
